Regular readers of this blog will have noticed the new website design and main focus of the website.  While taking some time off from photographing events on a regular basis I have been able to re-assess the primary direction that I wish to take with the business and that is to focus primarily on portrait photography for rural families in the south west and surrounding areas along with some Fine Art/Conceptual photography projects that I have wanted to explore for a long while. 

As my youngest daughter is competing more frequently I will usually have my camera with me at events that we attend, but will take photos of other competitiors by arrangement only (so if you see me at an event and would like to buy photos please come and let me know!).  I can also be booked for private coverage of events by two or more event participants.  The standard session booking fee and any related travel fee is required in advance to secure photography for the event.

Proof images from past events in Perth and the south west region are no longer part of the main website, but will be available for purchase from the old South West Photography web site for a short time before being permanently deleted to free up hard disk space.

I would sincerely like to thank all my past clients who have enjoyed and purchased my Event photography and supported my business since 2008.

It has been a massive undertaking, but I am very excited to announce that the new website design has finally been made live! The portraits and events section have been moved back under the main domain, which I think makes it easier to navigate and find the information that you are looking for.

There are still some minor things that need sorting and a bit of work to do to do to get all the photographs loaded into the Redbubble and Zazzle 'Photography For Sale' section of the website. For the time being, you can get a sneak peak to see what it will be like in the Abstract Photography category (depending on your browser you may need to scroll down the page to view the available products and description).

Now that we have moved from the big smoke and are settled in our new home in the country, I will be resuming child and family portrait photography sessions this year. I have restructured the pricing and products for Portrait Photography sessions and prints to be more in line with the rural community that we live in.

The Event photography pricing and product list has also been restructured and also includes some additional options for digital downloads for event photos.
