Thanks for stopping by to find out a little more about me! I am a photographer and multi award winning artist based in Western Australia. I live with my husband, three children and a small zoo of dogs, cats, horses and other livestock on a small farm in the beautiful south west region of the state.

I have always loved photography and have memories of spending huge amounts of time at a very young age going through family photo albums and admiring the beautiful old black and white snapshots. When my dad purchased a Canon AE-1 slr around 1980 my passion for photography was born and has steadily grown ever since, finally leading me to start my photography business in 2008.

My background is in traditional art and I have completed portrait commission drawings and paintings for many years. I have developed skills in most traditional Fine Art mediums including graphite, charcoal, colour pencil, pastels, acrylics and oil paints and have received numerous awards for my highly detailed and realistic artwork as well as several awards more recently for my abstract and digital paintings.  The knowledge and experience that I have gained from over thirty years creating traditional art is the single biggest influence on my photography. 

My camera is simply another Fine Art Medium that I use to create art.  Photography is my burning passion. Its not just something that I do on weekends or in between a day job - photography is a part of me and it defines who I am.  I love portrait photography in particular – people, pets, animals - its the face and the eyes that tell the individuals emotional story that inspires me.  Creating timeless images and precious heirlooms that show the unique individual character and personality of my subjects while capturing an emotional connection in my images is what I strive for.

I was born in the city, but I am a country girl at heart so landscapes, animals, farm life and our beautiful natural world also feature heavily in my personal work.
